Living in the Metro North Region

The wonderful and diverse communities that make up the Metro North region have so much to offer.  Residents have access to educational, recreational and business opportunities unsurpassed anywhere else.

Education
In the results-oriented K-12 schools in the Metro North area, ACT and SAT scores are consistently higher than the national averages.  Open enrollment allows residents to find the right "school of choice" for their children.  Residents consistently show support for their schools through funding initiatives, and Colorado is regularly recognized for innovative approaches to education.

While our own Front Range Community College is the largest community college in the state, we also have close access to two of the country's best research institutions, the University of Colorado and Colorado State University, as well as the University of Denver, Metro State College and the Colorado School of Mines.

Healthcare
Colorado has also been recognized as one of the top 10 states for excellence in fitness and health.  Advancements in medicine and research are the focus of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, currently relocating to the nearby Fitzsimmons Health Sciences Campus.  Healthcare opportuities abound, with emphasis on quality of life.

Housing
Thanks to the diversity of our communities, housing in the Metro North region is both affordable and available.  All our communities offer a wide selection of housing options, ranging from entry-level to executive homes.  Older neighborhoods with tree-lined boulevards mix with exciting new developments that incorporate "new urbanism" and mixed use ideals.

Recreation
When it comes to recreation, Colorado is unsurpassed.  Just a short drive away, the Rocky Mountains offer many opportunities for skiing, camping, bicycling and hiking.  Our residents have access to more than 35 ski areas and 15 million acres of national parks.

Closer to home, bike paths abound, connecting out communitites and the larger Denver Metro area as a whole.  The region has more than 100 parks, dozens of museums, numerous champoinship golf courses, two amusement parks, and one of the nations' top water parks, Water World.

Culture
Thanks to the support of the taxpayers, the Metro North area receives revenues specifically for the purpose of bringing arts, sciences, and culture to our residents.  Downtown Denver reflects that commitment to the arts, and the Denver Center of Performing Arts regularly brings in the best of Broadway, along with innovative performances by local artists.

With all that the Metro North region has to offer, why look anywhere else?  Metro North is THE place to be.
