    An evening of empowerment, celebration, and honoring of indomitable, powerful women of the Metro North. Our keynote speaker, Michelle Poler, will deliver a talk that will change your perception of fear, help you negotiate with your needs, and turn obstacles into opportunities.



    We will also hear from a panel of powerful female business leaders from our region including DEN Chief of Staff Cristal DeHererra and Avista Adventist Hospital CEO Jillyan McKinney.

    The evening's awards include:

    STEAM Innovator
    STEAM Innovator Award nominees are accomplished and recognized leaders in their profession, often entrepreneurial, and inspirational to their peers. This award focuses on women "in the trenches" within STEAM fields. These women are shaping the future and making an incredible impact, effecting change in the world through science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics (STEAM), and/or space.

    Champion of Diversity
    Champion of Diversity nominees are women who have demonstrated their ability and commitment to raising the value of diversity and inclusiveness in their work environment. The successful nominee will be able to demonstrate how their ability to influence or bring about cultural change in the workplace has given rise to more support for gender and equality.

    Philanthropist
    This award recognizes the most altruistic and generous woman in our region who practices social responsibility and humanitarianism. The winner is a positive role model who encourages other women in our region to follow her example and give more generously to those most in need.

    Millennial Leader
    This award is designed to recognize a women between the age of 20 and 34 doing outstanding work to improve the Metro North region. This award reflects the Chamber's appreciation of and gratitude for this generation and the emerging millennial leaders of our neighborhoods and industries.

    Woman of the Metro North
    The major award of the evening, the Woman of the Metro North is an inspirational powerhouse, a bellweather of leadership. Nominees for this award need not fall into a single or specified category, but must have a demonstrable record of fearlessness, innovation, tenacity, business acumen, and overall leadership.
