Business & Government Affairs
Our mission is to speak with one unified voice to promote the economic vitality of the region through diverse and equal representation.
The BGA Committee consistently advocates on behalf of issues such as:
economic growth and proposed employer mandates; energy; transportation; healthcare; workforce development, education, and affordable housing; public infrastructure
and many others.
The business and government affairs committee meets twice per month (2nd and 4th Wednesdays, 7:30-9 a.m.) when the State Legislature is in session. The committee is responsible for helping guide the Chamber's advocacy efforts by reviewing pending legislation and regulations for their impact on the membership.
